Edit: added link to original line art. (sorry forgot)

I removed the original work I had done and I am using this instead. The lines [link] for this was done by at MY request. We did a swap, my colours for some of lines that I requested. I am quite please with his lines, they are what I wanted. There are elements of the two duelling Seekers that are MP-03, Classics, Original cartoon and some of his own style.

This art was for me. I asked for the lines and the scene. It was payment for work I did.

I had originally had this coloured as a green seeker, but due to some issues that I am heavily unimpressed with, I have used one of my own characters, Sunburst, as the combatant. Needless to say I am horrendously upset by the level of destructive criticism I had received in private. The same criticism given saying, "could you perhaps lighten the shading here or there," would have been easier to take.

I had been thinking it might be fun to do colour work for people up until this point, which makes me think I should take leave of things for a while. The rather ironic thing is that I felt bad for asking Charger426 to change one or two things on the female character. Her shoulder was in a funny spot at the time. I just hope when I asked him I did not come off as being...I am not sure of the word, rude, and I think I explained to him that I have seen destructive criticism before and I know how bad it can hurt.

This sort of thing is a major reason as to why I was not really interested in doing colour work for people.

So I am posting this "recolour" with a heavy heart. The shading and highlights on "sunburst" are not designed for her. But it still works pretty good. The colouring has taken me a good few days working hard at it. Probably in excess of 36 hours work at least.
