Majestic Hawk

Today I was given the opportunity to see a hawk very close up, and I actually had my camera with me. I saw the bird flying low over the road and I was concerned the creature would get creamed by an uncaring motorist. Anyway the bird was interested in some carrion that had been sitting around for some weeks. I think it would do better with obtaining something a little more fresh.

Anyway, this is to me, simply amazing.
